Record IT exports in 2022 brought the Ukrainian economy $7.3 billion

By the end of 2022, the IT industry brought in $7.3 billion to the Ukrainian economy. The information of the National Bank of Ukraine evidence this.

Here are the critical conclusions about the IT sector in Ukraine:
– $7.3 billion is the most significant amount since independence. The IT sector accounted for almost half of all exports of services.
Exports increased by $400 million or 5.8% compared to 2021.
– As of January 1, 2023, the amount of taxes and fees to the consolidated budget of Ukraine from the IT business amounted to UAH 32.2 billion, which is 16% more than last year.
– The number of individual entrepreneurs taxpayers under the IT KVED has also increased.
– The share of IT in exports is almost half (45%) of all services exports. In 2021, this figure reached 37%.
