The European Commission will allocate EUR 335 mln to Ukraine for reforms and recovery



The Government of Ukraine has approved the signing of an agreement with the EU on financing recovery and reforms. The European Commission will allocate funds to support Ukraine on its way to EU membership, ensure the implementation of the Association Agreement and eliminate the consequences of russia’s military aggression.

Assistance under the agreement will be provided in five priority areas:

a resilient, sustainable and integrated economy – improvement of transport and energy infrastructure;

– accountable institutions, rule of law and security – increasing the overall efficiency of the public administration system;

environmental protection and climate change resilience – promoting investments in sustainable economic growth by supporting the green transition;

sustainable digital transformation – support for digital transformation and innovation;

sustainable, gender-equal, fair and inclusive society – support for those affected by the military armed conflict in russia and vulnerable regions.
