Given strong interest from participants, this session builds on the side-event “Financing Your Investment Project in Ukraine”, organised by the European Commission (DG ENEST) and UkraineInvest on the margins of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdansk. It brings together companies with investment projects in Ukraine and international and EU financial institutions, development banks and funds that can help finance them.
Companies often know that financing is available, but not which partner fits their project, what ticket sizes and conditions apply, or whom to contact. This session focuses on what financing partners offer and how to get financing.
Why attend: Participants get an update from the Commission and UkraineInvest on the Ukraine Investment Framework, hear short pitches from financing partners on what they finance, ticket sizes, special conditions and how to approach them, and can meet the partners directly in pre-arranged one-on-one meetings and at partner tables. Companies should ideally leave with named contact points and a next step for their financing request.

Target audience: EU/EEA and Ukrainian companies with concrete investment projects in Ukraine seeking financing, including applicants to the European Commission’s Call for Expressions of Interest. Priority will be given to companies that have not taken part in similar sessions previously.
Participation is subject to registration and approval by the organisers. Meetings with financing partners are an opportunity to present projects and explore options; they do not constitute a pre-assessment or a financing commitment, and all financing decisions remain with the partner institutions.
