About UkraineInvest
UkraineInvest is Ukraine’s national investment promotion office, established by the Government in 2018. The Office actively drives investment into Ukraine’s economy by showcasing priority projects, conducting proactive matchmaking, promoting opportunities on global platforms and through bilateral cooperation, supporting investors throughout the investment lifecycle, facilitating access to financing, and advising on the integrated use of state support instruments across sectors, ensuring a systematic and high-quality investor experience. UkraineInvest serves as a strategic communication bridge between government, business, and international partners.
Role Purpose
To lead UkraineInvest’s external and internal communications, strengthen Ukraine’s international and domestic reputation as an attractive investment destination, and support the implementation of the National Investment Strategy and state investment policy through effective communications, branding, public diplomacy, creation of practical engagement formats and platforms, and the planning and organization of events aligned with UkraineInvest’s strategic plan and communications strategy for all stakeholders in the investment process.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Leadership & Policy Alignment
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and branding strategy aligned with the National Investment Strategy
- Shape Ukraine’s strategic international and domestic investment narrative
- Position UkraineInvest as a key operational instrument of state investment policy
- Lead and manage the communications team
International & Domestic Communications
- Build and maintain relationships with leading Ukrainian and international media
- Engage with investors, partners, governments, and international financial institutions
- Promote Ukraine’s investment image through global events, forums, and business platforms
Branding & Institutional Identity
- Develop and maintain a consistent UkraineInvest brand aligned with the national investment brand
- Ensure quality and consistency of visual and content materials
- Oversee production of presentations, digital, and promotional materials for international and domestic audiences
Events & Strategic Engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee events in line with UkraineInvest’s strategic plan and communications strategy
- Leverage events to strengthen Ukraine’s investment brand, facilitate matchmaking, and promote priority projects
- Ensure integration of events into broader international and domestic communications campaigns
Public Presence & Reputation Management
- Provide communications support for senior leadership at key events
- Conduct reputation analysis of UkraineInvest’s domestic and international presence
- Lead crisis communications and information risk management
Content, Analytics & Digital Platforms
- Strategically develop the official website and digital channels
- Coordinate production of success stories, investment materials, and analytical products
- Monitor national and international media coverage
Institutional Coordination
- Ensure alignment of key international and domestic messaging
- Actively support bilateral cooperation with governments, international financial institutions, business associations, and other stakeholders
- Increase partner engagement in joint communications and branding initiatives
- Create and maintain practical formats and platforms for effective stakeholder engagement across the investment process
Candidate Profile
- Degree in economics, finance,banking, international relations, sociology, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of senior leadership experience in communications, GR, PR, public diplomacy, or international relations
- Proven track record in strategic communications and branding
- Experience engaging with international media, governments, and institutions
- Experience in communications within banking, financial sectors, strategic consulting, or investment institutions is highly desirable
- Strong leadership, analytical, and organisational skills
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English (minimum C1 level). Additional languages would be an asset.
