UkraineInvest to Support a €55 Million Investment Project by Grain Elevate in the Lviv Region

UkraineInvest and Grain Elevate have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at supporting the implementation of an investment project in the field of agrologistics and agricultural processing.

The project involves the construction of a modern grain elevator complex in the Lviv region with a simultaneous storage capacity of up to 40,000 tonnes of grain. It also envisages the subsequent development of processing facilities for rapeseed and the production of protein-based raw materials for the food and medical industries. The total investment value is estimated at approximately €55 million.

The Grain Elevate project is aligned with Ukraine’s strategic priorities for the development of the agro-industrial sector, particularly in expanding storage and processing capacities for agricultural products. It also has strong potential for integration into regional and European supply chains.

The project aims to help address the acute shortage of grain storage capacity in Ukraine, which has significantly intensified as a result of the war, contribute to the development of logistics infrastructure in western Ukraine, and create new jobs while boosting local economic activity. The choice of location is driven by the region’s strong cross-border logistics potential.

UkraineInvest will provide comprehensive project facilitation throughout both the preparation and implementation stages, operating under a single-window approach. This support includes advisory assistance, facilitation of engagement with public authorities, financial institutions and other stakeholders, consultations on access to financing, insurance and relevant government support programmes, as well as assistance in addressing operational issues that may arise during project preparation and implementation.
