UkraineInvest and LLC “Energy Health” Modern Medical Diagnostics Center have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The agreement provides for joint efforts in the development and implementation of a project to create a positron emission tomography (PET/CT) center in Kyiv, equipped with its own production of radiopharmaceuticals.
The implementation of this project is expected to have a significant social and economic impact. The establishment of such a modern medical center will substantially expand diagnostic capacities in oncology, neurology, and cardiology—areas that are critically important for Ukraine’s healthcare system.
The project addresses the shortage of high-tech diagnostic services, as currently only a few PET/CT scanners are available in Ukraine, which is far below the minimum EU standards.
Healthcare has been identified as one of the priority sectors under the Law of Ukraine “On State Support for Investment Projects with Significant Investments in Ukraine.” According to this law, projects with an investment volume starting from EUR 12 million (excluding VAT) may receive state support in the form of tax and customs benefits, amounting to up to 30% of capital expenditures.
