Partnership for reconstruction: UkraineInvest at the extended meeting of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine

On August 6, 2025, the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) held an extended meeting in observance of Builder’s Day.

The event brought together representatives from government authorities, the construction industry, professional associations, CBU partners, and key sector stakeholders to discuss current challenges and development prospects for the industry amid wartime conditions.

Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest, Oleksandr Melnychenko, emphasized in his speech that despite the ongoing war, Ukraine continues to attract investments, with the construction sector remaining one of the main drivers of the economy.

“UkraineInvest is a strategic partner of the construction industry, supporting and implementing significant investment projects aimed at rebuilding key economic sectors,” stated Oleksandr Melnychenko.

The meeting addressed the following topics:

  • current trends in the construction sector;
  • the impact of martial law on construction projects;
  • the need to adapt legislation to the realities of reconstruction;
  • cooperation between the government, business, and international partners.

During the event, outstanding representatives of the construction industry were also recognized for continuing their work despite the challenges posed by the full-scale war.
