Ukraine keeps taking advantage of the concessions in order to make sea ports in Ukraine more efficient and modernized.
The Ukrainian Sea port Authority has announced a tender for the advisory services regarding the preparation of the feasibility study and tender documentation for the concession project in Chornomorsk port.
According to Vladyslav Krykliy, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, they expect UAH 150 million of investments allocated for the modernization of the railway and ferry complex. The Minister has also signified an increased interest from the potential international investors from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria and Norway.
The Sea commercial port of Chornomorsk is one of the biggest ports in Ukraine, located at the key intersection of major transport corridors between Europe and Asia, industrialized areas and key sea routes.
