UkraineInvest and CCIFU discussed cooperation in attracting investment to Ukraine

Oleksandr Melnychenko, Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest, and Bertrand Barrier, President of the CCI France Ukraine (CCIFU), discussed the current state of the investment climate in Ukraine, including the challenges faced by investors, and potential ways of working together to encourage French companies to invest in Ukraine.

The CCIFU brings together more than 150 French companies operating in Ukraine, covering almost all sectors of the economy. Despite the difficult conditions, the CCIFU continues to actively support the economic development and reconstruction of Ukraine.

The discussion also included Grégoire Dattée, Managing Partner of Forvis Mazars in Ukraine, who emphasised the importance of attracting strategic investors to strengthen economic ties between Ukraine and France.

France plays a key role in the Ukrainian economy and continues to be:

the largest foreign employer in Ukraine, providing jobs for around 30,000 people;
one of the top 10 foreign investors in the Ukrainian economy;
a leader in investments in the banking and IT sectors.
