UkraineInvest and the European Business Association update Ukraine’s investment map

UkraineInvest and the European Business Association (EBA) are actively seeking new private and municipal investment projects in Ukraine. As part of their cooperation, both organisations have updated the Investment Map of Ukraine – a unique interactive platform that provides potential investors with access to a wide range of opportunities in various sectors of the economy.

The Investment Map was launched in February 2023 through the joint efforts of the European Business Association, Global Business for Ukraine and UkraineInvest. It serves as a comprehensive resource, providing detailed insights into available investment projects and the specific characteristics of different regions of Ukraine. The platform allows investors to access structured data on

  • Key investment opportunities in 15 economic sectors, including energy, agriculture, industry, logistics, construction, IT and more.
  • Regional profiles outlining each region’s area, population, local tax policies, educational institutions, available resources and leading industries.
  • Specific business projects seeking investment, with detailed information on project initiators, status, location, funding requirements, objectives and implementation timelines.
  • Ukraine’s startup investment platform, showcasing promising IT projects open for funding and collaboration.

Currently, the Investment Map features 188 projects with a total investment potential of approximately USD 6 billion. Since its launch in 2023, 5% of the projects listed on the platform have successfully secured funding. If you are an investor looking for promising opportunities, use the map to identify projects that match your interests and submit a request for further consultation,” said Oleksandr Melnychenko, Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest.

Companies or representatives of national and local authorities with investment projects in need of financing can apply to have their projects included in the map using a special form on the website.

Currently, the top three regions by number of projects listed are

  • Odesa region – 64 projects;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – 41 projects;
  • Kirovohrad region – 20 projects.

Ukraine needs private investment for development and reconstruction. Investment in Ukraine is both profitable and accessible, with key advantages such as established infrastructure, skilled professionals and various financial insurance and guarantee programmes. Most importantly, there are ready-to-invest projects actively seeking financing. The Investment Map brings these opportunities together to help investors navigate the business landscape in Ukraine – even in times of war,” said Anna Derevyanko, Executive Director of the European Business Association.

The Ukraine Investment Map is a powerful tool for attracting international capital and supporting the country’s recovery efforts. Join UkraineInvest and the European Business Association in the reconstruction and development of Ukraine!
