UkraineInvest held a discussion with women entrepreneurs on attracting investment

During a meeting organised by the Women’s Business Chamber of Ukraine, Elina Shapovalova, a senior expert from the International Relations and Communications Department of UkraineInvest, presented the activities of UkraineInvest to the participants.

During the B2B sessions she addressed several pressing issues of today’s investors. She emphasised that Ukraine has developed and implemented special regulations and incentives to attract foreign direct investment. The country operates under the Law of Ukraine “On State Support for Investment Projects with Significant Investments”, which provides a comprehensive framework to stimulate investment.  In addition, Ukraine offers a wide range of incentives to encourage investment in priority sectors of the economy. These include a special tax regime for the IT industry, temporary tax and customs concessions for investments in the production of electric vehicles and aircraft, and financial support for agricultural processing.

“UkraineInvest provides comprehensive advisory, analytical and legal support to investors interested in doing business in Ukraine. We want companies to realise that Ukraine offers a compelling business case and to explore the opportunities by contacting UkraineInvest. We invite investors to cooperate,” emphasised Elina Shapovalova.

The Women’s Business Chamber of Ukraine is the country’s largest organisation dedicated to the development of women’s entrepreneurship. Its main mission is to promote women’s economic opportunities and increase business efficiency.

The cooperation between UkraineInvest and the Women’s Business Chamber underlines the importance of women’s leadership in shaping Ukraine’s economic future and creating attractive conditions for foreign and domestic investors.
