The EBRD’s Board of Directors has approved investments in Ukraine worth more than EUR 1.3 billion.

Ukraine signs loan agreement with EU for up to EUR 35 billion under G7 initiativee.
Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko and National Bank of Ukraine Governor Andriy Pyshnyi signed a loan agreement with the European Union to raise up to EUR 35 billion in macro-financial assistance (MFA) through the Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) mechanism using proceeds from frozen russian assets.

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine expects Ukraine’s GDP to grow by 3.9% in 2024, with inflation at 9.5%.
Ukraine’s economy ministry, which cut its forecast for economic growth this year from 4.6% to 3.5% in mid-year, has revised it up to 3.9%.

Ukraine and the United States have signed a memorandum of understanding on energy resilience worth USD 825 million.
The document, signed by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on the sidelines of a meeting of NATO foreign ministers, provides for up to USD 825 million in US assistance to Ukraine.
