Experts from UkraineInvest shared relevant insights on investment opportunities in Ukraine, as well as the prospects for foreign companies’ involvement in the country’s reconstruction after the war, with business representatives from Australia and New Zealand. This took place during a webinar organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The webinar covered, in particular:
Andriy Ryzvaniuk, Investment Advisor at UkraineInvests, emphasized the huge opportunities for Australian and New Zealand companies in a range of sectors, from infrastructure to energy. He particularly highlighted the importance of investing in key reconstruction projects, such as rebuilding energy infrastructure and developing new technologies.
Kateryna Prokhoda, Legal Expert at UkraineInvests, provided a detailed overview of the Ukrainian tax regime for foreign investors. She emphasised the importance of tax incentives that can be applied to significant investments in the restoration of critical infrastructure and the implementation of strategic projects in the post-war period.
During the Q&A session, webinar participants received practical recommendations on how to start or expand investment projects in Ukraine. Special attention was given to the growing demand for infrastructure projects and digitalization, which creates additional opportunities for international investors.
UkraineInvest continues to actively work on enhancing Ukraine’s investment attractiveness and encouraging international partners to cooperate. The webinar was an important step in strengthening economic ties between Ukraine, Australia, and New Zealand, opening up new prospects for joint investments in the country’s post-war recovery. This cooperation will not only contribute to Ukraine’s development, but also open up new opportunities for foreign companies in a wide range of economic sectors.
