USAID has announced a war risk insurance programme for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The grants will be used to reduce the cost of insurance products for end-users. The total budget for the grant programme is USD 1 million. The aim of the grant programme is to develop the Ukrainian insurance market and increase the resilience of MSMEs to war risks through the use of innovative insurance products. These products will help businesses reduce the risks associated with implementing investment projects. First and foremost, we are talking about the risks associated with loss or damage to property as a result of russian aggression. This will help MSMEs attract additional funding, create new jobs and increase sales.
