OKKO Group is investing in the Ukrainian agricultural sector

The holding has acquired shares in two domestic companies.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has allowed GNG Retail Limited, a company owned by OKKO Group, to acquire a stake in the authorised capital of Ukrpolfrukt LLC and Gadz-Agro LLC.

Both companies are registered in the Ternopil region.

The core business of Gadz-Agro LLC is the cultivation of cereals, pulses and oilseeds, as well as vegetables, melons and fruits. The company’s business areas include seed production, livestock breeding, milk processing, butter and cheese production, sugar, flour and cereals, etc.

The core business of Ukrpolfrukt LLC is the cultivation of berries, nuts and other fruit trees and bushes. 

OKKO Group already owns Khlibprom, which was established in 2003. It includes five production facilities: two bakeries in Lviv, a bakery and semi-finished products plant, Vinnytsiakhlib and the Yavirmlyn flour milling complex. Since 2014, the company has been operating as a separate business unit in the coffee sector.
