With the support of UkraineInvest and in accordance with the Law on State Support of Investment Projects with Significant Investments, the Irish company Kingspan Group is implementing a major investment project in Ukraine worth more than EUR 250 million.
The regular presentation, organised by UkraineInvest at the request of the investor, took place at the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine during a working meeting attended by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Vitaliy Kindrativ, Acting Executive Director of UkraineInvest Oleksandr Melnychenko, Kingspan Ukraine Project Manager Mike Stenson and Project Manager Maksym Dronov.
The parties exchanged views on the details and implementation of the investment plans and the main results of their implementation. At the request of the investor’s representatives, the Deputy Minister of Economy briefed the participants on the status of the adoption of legislation by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, including the latest amendments to the Law on “Investment Nannies”.
Kingspan is one of the largest investors to enter Ukraine during the full-scale invasion. The company announced its intention to build a construction technology production campus in the western region of Ukraine. The expected implementation period is 6 years. The construction technology manufacturing campus, which will be built as part of the investment project, will produce advanced insulation products and district heating solutions to help meet the rapidly growing demand for energy efficient buildings and facilities in Central and Eastern Europe.
