🤝 Relations between the UK and Ukraine has been recently given a fresh impetus as negotiation process over the Political, Trade and Partnership Agreement is at its final stage. Earlier this summer the UK Prime Minister mentioned the importance of Ukraine for further development of the UK’s international cooperation policy. Furthermore, the UK is in the top five investors in Ukraine and Ukraine’s 15th largest trading partner.
🇺🇦🇬🇧 Today, UkraineInvest team held a productive meeting with the British Ambassador to Ukraine HE Melinda Simmons and her team to discuss cooperation. British investors’ needs and challenges in Ukraine, ways to boost mutually beneficial economic ties between countries and other topics have been discussed during the meeting.
☝️ Ambassador underlined that the reform progress in Ukraine, specifically in judiciary, banking, economic competition and other sectors would unlock significant opportunities. It was agreed that UkraineInvest would work closely with the UK Embassy and UK businesses in the area of investment attraction, aftercare support and resolution of problems affecting investors’ activities in Ukraine.
