The UkraineInvest team took part in the annual Munich Security Conference in Germany

The Munich Security Conference is the largest global security event in the world. This year’s conference focused on

defence issues;

global order;

human security;

sustainable development;

technologies (with a focus on AI).

Most of the discussions at the event focused on the war in Ukraine and the importance of continued support from the EU and the US.

During numerous meetings with CEOs of industrial companies, global producers of dual-use goods, UkraineInvest Strategic Advisor Kostiantyn Lisnychyi focused on the incentives offered by Ukraine to investors, in particular in the miltech sector, and invited CEOs of leading global companies to visit Ukraine.

Taking into account the Ukraine Recovery Conference scheduled for this summer in Berlin, a number of such business visits may take place in the near future, and UkraineInvest, together with partner associations, is already working on organising them.

One of the most powerful ways to communicate that foreign businesses can and do operate successfully in Ukraine is through the voices that matter most to potential investors – those of other businesses.
