Chief Advisor to the Executive Director of UkraineInvest gave a presentation on the development of the electric vehicle market in Ukraine


By 2025, half of Volvo’s sales will be electric cars.
Volvo Cars plans to be fully electric by 2030, setting an irreversible path for the brand’s electrification. In line with its climate commitments, the company aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2040.

This was discussed at the international launch of the new Volvo EX30 and Volvo EX90 electric cars in Barcelona, Spain.

The purpose was to hold talks with Volvo’s Head of Commercial and Deputy CEO on attracting investment to the automotive industry.

The event was attended by journalists and experts from around the world. 

Maryna Kytina, Chief Advisor to the Executive Director of UkraineInvest gave a presentation on the development of the electric vehicle market in Ukraine.

“Volvo representatives were very impressed by the figures and growth rates of the electric vehicle sector in Ukraine and expressed their belief that further cooperation with our country and UkraineInvest will not be delayed. Therefore, we are looking forward to presenting new car models and developing fruitful relations with Volvo,” commented Maryna Kytina.
