The UkraineInvest team is stepping up its efforts to attract private investment to Ukraine to help rebuild and grow the economy – this time from Finland

Finnish companies are exploring sectors for investment in Ukraine without waiting for the end of the war – this was discussed during a meeting between the UkraineInvest management and a delegation of Finnish companies.

The parties discussed:
– promising investment areas and cooperation in the implementation of investment projects;
– peculiarities of investment projects implementation in Ukraine;
– the legal framework of investment activity in Ukraine;
– instruments and opportunities for Finnish companies and investors who have shown an active interest in the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The meeting was held as part of the cooperation between UkraineInvest and Miltton, an international consulting company, to improve the investment climate and attract Finnish investment to the Ukrainian economy.

Finland is one of the leading countries in providing assistance to Ukraine. Since the beginning of full-scale russian aggression in February 2014, Finland has provided assistance to Ukraine totalling 1.7 bln euros. The country has consistently supported Ukraine on its path towards European integration and territorial integrity. Most Finnish companies have left the russian market.
