Korean company POSCO will participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine

The company remains active in the Ukrainian market and is interested in further investments in the Ukrainian economy.

This was discussed during a meeting between Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and POSCO CEO Jeong Tak  and his team.

The parties discussed cooperation in three areas in particular
– agricultural industry with a focus on processing;
– metallurgy with the use of green technologies;
– construction with a full cycle of materials production in Ukraine.

“I thanked POSCO for considering Ukraine as a potential country for investment and development. South Korea’s experience in post-war reconstruction will be useful for the implementation of projects in Ukraine,” commented Denys Shmyhal.

UkraineInvest was represented at the meeting by Maryna Kytina, an expert in attracting and supporting investments, who supports projects on electromobility, green transformation, and decarbonization.
