Andy Hunder, president at American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, will speak at the FIT for Ukraine: Annual Meeting

The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine is a powerful and reputable organisation that has worked hard to open up Ukraine to American investors. ACC member companies have invested a total of about USD 50 bln in Ukraine. 84% of ACC member companies continue to operate in Ukraine despite the war.

According to the survey “Doing Business after 15 Months of Full-Blown War in Ukraine” conducted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine in cooperation with EY, the main findings of the survey on companies’ plans to rebuild Ukraine are as follows

– 74% plan to create jobs for Ukrainians in existing projects;
– 63% intend to invest in new projects/plants/capacities;
– 47% are ready to provide their expertise or technical assistance to the Government of Ukraine.

The ACC was actively involved in the development and implementation of the National Plan for Ukraine’s Recovery from the War. The plan envisages the transformation of priority sectors of the economy: defence and manufacturing, metallurgy, agriculture, and the development of the IT industry.
