Canada and Canadian businesses are interested in investing in Ukraine and are considering opportunities for cooperation aimed at reviving investment in the Ukrainian economy

Promising investment projects and ways to attract private capital were discussed during a working meeting between UkraineInvest management and the team of the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine.

As you know, the recently updated Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada contains a section on business protection, which adds a comprehensive and modern set of legal instruments for investment protection. This should be an important incentive for Canadian investors to consider Ukraine as an attractive place to invest capital and expand their businesses.

Canadian businesses are already investing in the development of renewable energy in Ukraine, as well as in agribusiness, food production and other sectors of the economy.
