France remains one of the key European partners of Ukraine. French companies are proactive and take leadership in foreign investments in Ukraine. With over 180 French companies operating in Ukraine, France takes 8th place in FDI volumes reaching $845M in 2019.
Today the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with the representatives of French business, the embassy of France in Ukraine, CCIUF. The discussion was focused on the investment climate, the operation of the French companies in Ukraine and the measures taken to unlock the investment potential of Ukraine.
UkraineInvest was happy to take the lead in the organization of the meeting in order to facilitate the cooperation and effective dialogue between the Ukrainian government and French business. We believe that such meetings play an important role in hearing the voice of business as well as helping to deepen the economic cooperation potential between the countries and stimulate the foreign direct investment inflow.
