Ukraine, in collaboration with the German Credit Institution for Reconstruction (KfW), is implementing five joint investment projects worth EUR 247 mln and is preparing an additional three projects valued at over EUR 73 mln.
This information was conveyed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a meeting with the German Minister of Finance Christian Lindner, who visited Ukraine.
Denys Shmyhal expressed gratitude to the German Government for its military, sanctions, and financial support, highlighting that Ukraine has received over EUR 1.5 bln in macro-financial assistance from Germany, most of it in the form of grants.
“We expect German businesses to participate in the reconstruction. It is also necessary to strengthen sanctions against russia and confiscate russian assets, which will be the main source of financing for the recovery,” emphasized the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
