Executive Director of UkraineInvest and Director of International Project Finance of DFC discussed investments in Ukraine

Sergiy Tsivkach, Executive Director of UkraineInvest, and John Didiuk, Director of International Project Finance at the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), held a meeting in Kiev.

They discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions and priority sectors for investment in the Ukrainian economy. Sergiy Tsivkach presented a number of investment projects supported or under consideration by UkraineInvest.

The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation is actively supporting Ukraine, looking for high quality investment projects to finance and exploring the possibility of war risk insurance.

DFC is an American development finance institution that works with the private sector to finance solutions to the most critical challenges facing the developing world today.

In 2023, DFC will allocate $250 mln to support Ukrainian small and medium-sized businesses. In January, 2023 DFC announced plans to raise up to $1 bln to support the Ukrainian economy.
