Ukraine and Austria will cooperate in the field of investment projects implementation

Government submitted to thr Parliament the Draft Law of Ukraine No. 0176 “On Ratification of the Framework Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Austria on Economic Cooperation in Project Development”.

The draft law provides for the ratification of the Framework Agreement on Economic Cooperation signed by representatives of the Governments of both states on September 4, 2022, in Krakow.

The adoption of the Law will create legal grounds for the entry into force of the Framework Agreement which will facilitate economic cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Austria in the development of priority projects with total project value of more than EUR 600 million, in particular:

• the construction (reconstruction) and equipment of the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt” in Kyiv (total value: EUR 200 million);

• the construction and equipment of a modern university clinic in Kyiv (total value: EUR 350 million);

• the creation of the National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv (total value: EUR 75 million). The list of projects is not exhaustive and can be expanded by adding other high-priority projects for Ukraine.
