Viacheslav Soloviov, Acting Head of Legal Affairs and Regulatory Policy Department

Vіacheslav Solovіov joined UkraineInvest in August 2021 and occupies the position of the сhief specialist in the Legal Affairs and Regulatory Policy Department of the UkraineInvest.

Viacheslav concentrates his efforts on providing assistance in resolving problematic issues of foreign investors in Ukraine, in establishing effective communication between the foreign investors and central and local authorities due the business protection activity.

Viacheslav has experience in the direct implementation of pre-trial investigations of the criminal proceedings, as well as worked in the central executive bodies, directly involved in the development of draft regulations.

Before joining UkraineInvest, Viacheslav worked as an investigator in the National Police of Ukraine, as well as an expert in the reform team of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

Viacheslav has obtained a bachelor and master degree in Law at the National University “Odessa Law Academy”, as well as he is currently receiving a Ph.D. degree in the field of criminal justice and topics related to the implementation of defense in criminal proceedings.

Olesia Boichuk, Legal specialist

Olesia Boichuk joined UkraineInvest in September 2020 and occupies the position of a legal specialist in Legal Affairs and Regulatory Policy. 

Olesia mainly provides assistance in preparing and implementing investment projects with significant investments, as well as troubleshooting services to foreign investors operating in Ukraine. 

Before joining UkraineInvest Olesia worked in public authorities, including the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Ministry of Finance. 

Olesia holds a master’s degree in law from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, studied EU law through an academic exchange program at the Jagiellonian University, and and has completed an internship in Illinois General Assembly (USA).

Oleksandra Piataeva, Legal specialist

Oleksandra joined the UkraineInvest team in 2018 as a legal advisor. Oleksandra graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and has a master’s degree in law. She has been practising her profession since 2009 and has experience in a wide variety of fields.

The beginning of her career started with the position of Secretary of the Criminal Chamber, Assistant to the Judge and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Obolonʹ District Court in Kyiv. The next step in Alexandra’s career was the position of a legal adviser at the State Technological Safety in Kyiv.

Oleksandra has also worked in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the Department of Public Procurement of Contractual Work and Relations with State-Owned Enterprises, as the Chief Specialist of the Contractual Work Department.

Oleksandra has completed a full course of training in the field of public procurement and has certificates of advanced training in public procurement.

Kateryna Kulyna, Legal specialist

Kateryna joined UkraineInvest in 2019 and provides assistance to investors facing problematic issues within investment projects implementation. 

Kateryna previously worked at the NGO “Center for Democracy and the Rule of Law”, where she monitored and analyzed legislative changes in the field of media and information law, as well as the progress of media reforms in Ukraine.

Kateryna holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, studied EU law through an academic exchange program at the Jagiellonian University, and received a master’s degree in European interdisciplinary studies from the College of Europe.

Stefan Khrystenko, Legal specialist

Stefan Khrystenko joined UkraineInvest in September 2020 and occupies the position of a leading legal specialist. 

Stefan concentrates his efforts on providing assistance in preparation and implementation of investment projects with significant investments, as well as troubleshooting services to foreign investors operating in Ukraine. Stefan has an expertise in commercial law, alternative dispute resolution, international taxation and international law. 

Before joining UkraineInvest Stefan worked in a first-tier Ukrainian law firm in dispute resolution (according to “The Legal 500”) with a key focus on international arbitration, business law and litigation.

Stefan has obtained a bachelor and master degree in Law at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, as well as a master degree in International Law at the University of Copenhagen.
